Company-Operated Local Advertisements

Local advertisements operated directly by the Company and displayed based on general geographic relevance — using data processed solely within the Company’s platform — do not constitute a sale or sharing of personal information under the CPRA.

3. Effect of an Opt-Out

Where applicable, an opt-out limits the use or disclosure of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or other activities that constitute “sharing” under applicable California law.

An opt-out does not necessarily prevent all advertising or all processing of information. Certain information may still be processed when reasonably necessary to provide the Site, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with law, or for other purposes permitted by applicable law.

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Where required by applicable law and when a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is technically received by the Site, we treat the signal as an applicable request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device.

The availability and effect of GPC may depend on the browser, device, consent-management technology, and other technical circumstances. You may also use the Site’s available privacy controls or contact us directly to exercise applicable rights.

6. Processing & Persistence of Opt-Out Preferences

Opt-out requests, including those submitted via GPC, are honored as soon as reasonably practicable. Manual requests (such as email) may receive a confirmation response within a reasonable timeframe.

Opt-out preferences (other than GPC) are typically stored using browser cookies. If you clear cookies, use private browsing mode, or change devices or browsers, your preference may need to be reapplied.

Where a valid GPC signal is technically received and applicable law requires recognition of that signal, it may be used to apply the relevant opt-out preference for that browser or device.

Authorized Agent Requirements

Authorized agents submitting requests on behalf of a consumer must provide:

1. Written authorization signed by the consumer
2. Proof of the agent’s identity
3. Verification that the agent is registered with the California Secretary of State (if required)

We may also contact you directly to verify the request.

7. Additional California Privacy Rights

In addition to opt-out rights, California residents may request to:

• Request deletion of personal information (subject to legal exceptions)
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable

We respond to verified requests within forty-five (45) days, with one additional forty-five (45) day extension where permitted by law.

8. Non-Discrimination and Site Functionality

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under the CCPA or CPRA.

Some optional features or technologies may function differently when certain cookies, permissions, or data uses are disabled. Functional technologies that are reasonably necessary to provide requested Site features, maintain security, or support account functionality may still be used as permitted by applicable law.
